hello. i am new to this industry. been working for a life-cast artist for 6 years and we are venturing into *your* world.
i am a performance artists by night (flam-chen.com) and make heads by day. our specialty is we can *crank* out faces and heads. 3 minutes for prep and mold making, about 6 faces an hour. we use gypsum plasters for final product. the key about our system is that the subject is only under mold making material (alginate) for less than 2 minutes.
but we have NO idea about the market or entertainment industry. most of our experience is with retreat workshops, schools and troubled youths, and private interests.
