Help! Tia Dalma's teeth...what product to use?

This is a great source for info! I'm hoping you all can help me out--what product was used to make Tia Dalma's teeth/mouth black? (Pirates of the Carribean) Just using tooth-black doesn't seem to cut it...and this needs to stay on through eating/drinking.
